The Sisterhood Method™ - SERIES II
An embodied practice of connection
Week 1-Sept. 14: Receiving
The Radical Practice of Being Supported
Women are often practiced at giving, tending, anticipating, and holding it all together. Receiving can be much harder.
This week we'll explore what happens when we allow ourselves to be supported. Through restorative practices, breath, safe touch, and shared presence, we'll practice softening into the experience of being cared for.
Week 2- Sept. 28:
Holy Anger
Reclaiming the Power of the Female NO
Women have been taught to swallow anger, soften it, make it more palatable, or turn it inward.
But anger carries wisdom. It can show us where a boundary has been crossed, what we care deeply about, and what is no longer acceptable. Through shaking, sound, movement, breath, and discussion, we'll explore anger as an intelligent and protective life force.
Week 3- Oct. 5:
Erotic Self
Reclaiming Sexuality, Pleasure & Aliveness
Our sexuality belongs to us.
As we age, our erotic identity needs to be matured. We are capable of pleasure, desire, creativity, sensation, and deep aliveness.
Through embodied practices, conversation, movement, and self-inquiry, we'll explore our relationship to sexuality and pleasure and begin listening for what awakens when we experience our bodies from the inside rather than through the gaze of others.
Week 4- Oct. 19: Hormonal Woman
Understanding the Hormones That Shape Our Lives
Female hormones influence more than our periods. They affect energy, mood, sleep, desire, metabolism, stress, cognition, and how we experience our bodies across a lifetime!
This week we'll explore the changing hormonal landscape from menstruation through perimenopause and menopause. Together we'll build greater body literacy and a deeper understanding of what our bodies may be communicating through their changing rhythms.
Week 5- Oct 26:
Wild Joy
Remembering the Woman Who Knows How to Play
Women also need spaces to laugh loudly, move freely, dance, play, celebrate, experience pleasure, and take up space without turning any of it into self-improvement.
In our final week, under the full moon, we'll explore joy as a bodily experience and a collective practice. Through music, movement, breath, connection, and rest, we'll remember the kind of aliveness that becomes possible when women feel free enough to be fully themselves.
