Class Details
As a practitioner of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine for the last 17 years, I have observed trends that come and go each season with patients. In the spring there tends to be an uptick in tension and pain through areas of vulnerability, increased frequency in head pain and/or dizziness, Bell's palsy, increased seasonal allergy symptoms, irritability, changes in the menstrual cycle, ringing in the ears, disruption to the sleep cycle, bloating and digestive sensitivities. Patient's are always comforted when told that they are not alone in these symptoms. These are common in this season.
Your routines aren't failing you, the efforts you have been putting into your health are working- you just need some fine tuning for spring. Regardless of a patient's age, constitution or symptoms, there are 3 to 4 acupuncture points that can be used on each person in the spring for prevention.
So, why not bring everyone together to take a collective breath, ease onto our mats and receive a gentle 30 minute acupuncture treatment? Receiving care in this way promotes healing not just in the individual, but within the context of community support and connection. When we feel better, we can do better in the world and our community is better for it.
