KNOWLEDGE AND PROFICIENCY IN 4 KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS for WOMEN

⦁ Muscle and fascia access (“pattering”) and control matter more than range of motion.

⦁ Changing rigid ideas of bilateral symmetry, what you feel matters more than how it looks

⦁ Exploring steady transitions from move to move for greater proprioception and balance, enhanced breath and movement coordination, as well as improved focus and resilience.

⦁ Nuanced approaches for women are the game changer for optimized movement - with considerations for the pelvic floor, hormonal shifts, menstruation years and beyond.

Meet the Instructor

Leslee was one of the top cyclists in the world, medaling at the World Championships several times, narrowly missing the Olympic team (after helping a teammate gain a spot), and even appeared in an award-winning Nike commercial. She used yoga, strength training, visualization, and recovery techniques to optimize her racing career, and still does today to overcome a back injury, and stay active and vibrant through post-menopausal changes. She has combined work with top coaches at the Olympic Training Center and on the world’s most elite teams with deep study and research in yoga, mobility, myofascial release, and anatomy to develop her successful yoga4athletes program. She’s been a full-time yoga coach for nearly two decades, working with a wide range of practitioners and athletes - from professional to recreational – with special emphasis and deep bench training in women’s health and productivity from college through perimenopause and beyond. She also leads yoga teacher trainings and studio classes in her hometown of Rochester, NY and across the U.S. Full bio at tuneyoga.com
